General Applications: AcryliStrip Concrete Stripper is best applied through a low-pressure application system when outdoors, but it can be brushed, wiped, or rolled on to the surface. Depending on the paint or coating, more than one application may be needed. Apply the Stripper from the top down using a side-to-side motion. A small hand pump garden sprayer works well for small jobs. Allow AcryliStrip to dwell for at least five minutes before doing a scratch test. Scratch at the paint or coating with a sharp object to see if the substrate is visible. If the substrate is visible where tested then it is ready to be rinsed. If the substrate is not visible or if the coating is gummy but not released, re-apply and let dwell for an additional ten minutes before re-testing. Be careful not to leave foliage covered for too long in direct sunlight, as it may cause damage. A pressure washer, garden hose, or water and scrub brush can be used for rinsing. When using a pressure washer, keep the nozzle six inches from the surface if rinsing wood. Coverage: Technical data:
