Description: Repair Mortar RM-275 is a two component, rapid set self-drying technology, squeegee or screed grade cementitious polymer modified repair mortar. It is formulated with a proprietary blend of powders, aggregates and modified liquid SBR copolymer. RM-275 produces a tenacious bond to concrete with increased compressive strengths, abrasion resistance, while still maintaining a compatible co-efficient of expansion to concrete. RM-275 mixes in proportioned quantities at one gallon of RM-275 liquid polymer to one 40 lb bag RM-275 powder. It is rapid set, environmentally safe, has zero VOC with virtually no odor, and cleans up with just soap and water

Typical Uses:
RM-275 Repair Mortar was designed primarily for application by squeegee or screed, to patch concrete, repair concrete, smooth concrete, and resurface concrete in preparation for other Floric Polytech materials, and as a trowel underlayment in lath over plywood substrates for direct bond decking application and/or tile underlayments. It may also be used to smooth existing exposed aggregate concrete and terrazzo surfaces, and grout joints in structurally sound ceramic and quarry tile that are to be covered with additional forms of floor coverings materials. Whether it is for concrete restoration, aesthetic beautification or as an underlayment in direct bond lath situations, Repair Mortar RM-275 is the premier choice in today’s fast track working environment where rapid set and self drying technology is required for quick project turn around times.
Repair Mortar RM-275 may be applied from 1/16” to 1” thickness or when bulked with large washed aggregate economically up to 3”inches. With is increased compressive strength, adhesion and abrasion resistance, Repair Mortar RM-275 may be left exposed to commercial and industrial type traffic or covered with almost any type of floor covering. The improvements over regular concrete as a patch, repair, overlay and pitch product are dramatic, especially in thin sections where conventional concrete fails. RM-275 is slightly sticky if troweled, because it was designed primarily to be used as a squeegee or screed application material. Light scraping or sanding is generally needed prior to covering with additional coats of product or floor covering applications. However it will maintain the same physical properties if simply left with a light screed finish.
Repair Mortar RM-275 may be installed over a wide range of stable, structurally sound substrates, including concrete, terrazzo, tile, and even wood substrates when incorporated with metal lath which is fastened appropriately. In many cases it is used to slope and smooth surfaces, or to increase plywood substrate rigidity and limit flexibility for subsequent applications. It improves flame resistance and generally prepares decks and balconies to receive a functional membrane waterproofing system. In these cases it is basically a stabilizing underlayment.
